Easter Seals Disability Services

The Carlton and Wade Childress Family Resource Center, located in the Albany office, provides information and/or resources on disability related health topics for families, providers, healthcare workers, agencies/organizations, caregivers, educators, anyone providing services or working with people who have disabilities or special needs. The majority of information is obtained via computer access, free online public access, and through handouts/brochures from organizations or agencies. Since this resource center mainly functions via computer access, information provided to patrons is as up to date and as comprehensive as possible. The Family Resource Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. However, you can request information any time of the day or night.

To provide the highest quality of information/resources available for anyone caring for, teaching, working with, or parenting individuals with disabilities, special needs, or disability related health needs. The Carlton and Wade Childress Family Resource Center will strive to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities, special needs, or disability related health needs by empowering them with access to the most up to date information/resources available in the world of disabilities.
