Women of the Moose Support Families at Megan’s House
A gift of food and funding from Women of the Moose, Chapter 1462, will help Megan’s House provide respite care and support families who need a break from caregiving responsibilities.
Members of Women of the Moose, Chapter 1462, recently visited Easterseals Megan’s House Respite Home to deliver collected food items for individuals receiving care. They also presented a $500 donation to help provide respite care scholarships for families who need financial assistance.
Megan’s House offers short-term respite care for children and adults with disabilities, giving caregivers time to attend to their own health, manage other responsibilities, and rest. For many families, financial support makes that care accessible.
With no permanent funding, Megan’s House relies on the generosity of community supporters to continue providing these services. Contributions like this help ensure families can receive support when they need it.
We are grateful to Women of the Moose for their generosity, compassion, and commitment to families in our community.
