Amad Moore serves as Director of Florida Services for Easterseals Northwest Florida, where he oversees programs across the region that support individuals in achieving meaningful employment and greater independence. In this role, he provides leadership for core services including Employment Services, On-the-Job Training, Supported Employment, and Work-Based Learning Experiences.
A Florida native from Lake Placid, Amad brings more than 14 years of leadership experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. His professional background includes serving as Executive Director of Residential and Day Services as well as Executive Director for Acquired Brain Injury programs, where he focused on strengthening service quality, team development, and person-centered outcomes.
Amad’s commitment to leadership, teamwork, and exceptional customer service has also been shaped by his long-standing involvement with Special Olympics since 1989. He previously coached college basketball at Lincoln University of Pennsylvania and played collegiately at Kentucky State University, experiences that continue to influence his collaborative and motivational leadership style.
In his role with Easterseals, Amad is passionate about helping job seekers recognize their unique strengths and confidently pursue opportunities in community employment. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve under the leadership of President and CEO, John McCain and looks forward to advancing the organization’s mission throughout Northwest Florida.
