Cathy Price Jenkins has proudly served Easterseals Southern Georgia since July 2002. She began her journey as a Program Assistant and quickly transitioned into the role of Family Support Coordinator, where she has spent more than two decades advocating for children and adults by helping connect them with essential services, resources, and opportunities for greater independence and quality of life. Her dedication to the mission has been recognized through her selection as Easterseals Southern Georgia’s Employee of the Year in both 2005 and 2020.
Cathy played an instrumental role in the development of Megan’s House Respite Home, working alongside the architect and builder in 2017 to help bring this vital service to life. Since the respite program’s launch in 2004, Megan’s House has provided invaluable support to countless families across South Georgia. Cathy remains deeply passionate about Family Support services and respite care, and she is committed to working collaboratively with families, community partners, and colleagues to advance Easterseals’ mission.
Prior to joining Easterseals, Cathy gained experience in a variety of roles, including homemaker, life insurance clerk, church bookkeeper, and kindergarten paraprofessional—experiences that helped shape her compassionate, service-driven approach to her work.
Cathy and her husband, Steve, have been married for 39 years and reside in Lee County. They have two adult children who live nearby and are the proud grandparents of three grandchildren. Outside of work, Cathy treasures time spent with her family and is grateful for the strong support and love shared across generations.
