Megan's House Respite Services

Megan’s House Respite Home provides families of individuals with special needs a safe haven—a place where they can leave their loved ones in specialized, caring hands while taking a short break from their daily responsibilities. The respite care offered by Megan’s House allows parents and caregivers time to recharge, attend to their own healthcare needs or those of other children or family members, get involved in community activities, or focus on their personal growth and development.

As the only respite home of its kind South of Atlanta, Easterseals Megan's House has been a lifeline for thousands of families across Georgia since 2004. 

Located in Leesburg, Georgia, Megan’s House can accommodate up to four adults or children at a time. Care is provided by qualified and experienced Direct Care Professionals, or a Licensed Practical Nurse, with individualized care plans developed by a Registered Nurse. Respite care at Megan’s House can be utilized for both crisis situations and scheduled visits.
