Residential Community Living Supports

Easterseals Southern Georgia offers Community Living Supports designed to help empower people to live independently within a community setting. Most participants can manage many aspects of their lives independently, but may require assistance in certain areas. Many of these individuals live in their own homes or semi-independent apartments, with Easterseals Southern Georgia offering qualified direct support staff assistance as needed. 

Easterseals staff provide support with daily living activities, which include bathing, grooming, cooking, housekeeping, personal care, participating in community events, and developing social skills. Service hours are customized to meet each individual's needs, offering up to six hours of assistance per day, all while aiming to minimize disruption to their daily routine.
