Imagine providing care for a loved one with significant disabilities every hour of every day. For many families, caregiving is a full-time responsibility that requires constant attention, compassion, and strength. While these families give everything to care for their loved ones, they also need moments to rest, recharge, and care for themselves.

Easterseals Megan’s House was created to provide that much-needed break. Located in Leesburg, Georgia, Megan’s House is the only respite home of its kind south of Atlanta. It serves children and adults with developmental disabilities, autism, and individuals who are medically fragile. Families can rely on Megan’s House during times of crisis or schedule short breaks knowing their loved ones are in safe, compassionate, and highly qualified hands.

The average cost to operate Megan’s House for a single 24-hour period is approximately $500 or more, depending on the level of care required. Thanks to the generosity of our community, these essential respite services are provided to families at no cost.

Last year alone, Easterseals Megan’s House provided more than 300 days of respite care for families across Southern Georgia.

To support this vital service, Easterseals Southern Georgia invites you to participate in the Tee Off for Megan’s House Golf Tournament on June 3, 2026 at River Pointe Golf Club. This exciting community event brings together golfers, businesses, and supporters who share a commitment to helping families caring for loved ones with disabilities.

Whether you bring your own foursome or sign up solo and we place you on a team, you’ll enjoy a fun day of golf while supporting an important cause.
