Making the Grade: George Turns His Passion into a Career

With a passion for working with young children and a clear career goal, George came to Easterseals ready to build his future. Through CWAT training and Job Placement services, he found an opportunity that matched his interests and put his strengths to work.

George

Throughout his time at Easterseals, George demonstrated strong communication skills, a dedicated work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. During his CWAT training, he shared his goal of building a career that would allow him to continue working with young children.

When he entered Job Placement services, George stayed focused on that goal. He actively explored employment opportunities and continued his search until he found a position that aligned with his career aspirations.

His persistence paid off. George was hired as a substitute teacher with Educational Staffing Solutions, serving the Colquitt County School District, with a start date of September 1, 2026.

George’s story illustrates how Easterseals helps people build skills and pursue employment that reflects their strengths and interests.

Congratulations, George! We celebrate your determination and wish you continued success in your teaching career.
