A visit to the Lee County Fire Department gave participants from Easterseals’ Albany Adult Day Center an opportunity to learn about fire safety and meet the people who help keep their community safe.

With a degree from Clayton State University and a goal of beginning her career in criminal justice, Taylor connected with Easterseals Southern Georgia for support. Today, she is putting her education into practice as a member of the Jury Room team at the Dougherty County Government Center.

After a lengthy illness interrupted his career, Calvin Griffin was ready to return to work. With decades of experience, determination, and support from Easterseals Southern Georgia’s Vocational Services, he found a new opportunity at the Albany Area YMCA.

Through determination, personalized support, and a love for animals, KeVondre found meaningful employment as a Kennel Assistant at the Albany Humane Society. His journey shows how accommodations and continued advocacy can help people pursue their career goals.

Students at Worth County High School are discovering new career possibilities through Easterseals Southern Georgia’s Vocational Program, using virtual reality to explore job environments and practice workplace skills.

With dedication, consistent therapy, and support from Easterseals Southern Georgia’s Family Support Program, Bellarose is growing stronger and building greater independence. For her family, access to additional therapies has made a meaningful difference.

Through Easterseals Southern Georgia’s Community Work Adjustment Training program, he is gaining hands-on experience at Pet Plus Supplies while pursuing his goal of working full-time at a pet store or animal shelter.
