From High School to Healthcare

Everiana Dunlap's journey from high school student to a thriving Certified Nursing Assistant exemplifies her dedication and determination to succeed in the healthcare field.

Everiana Dunlap

Everiana Dunlap was referred to Easterseals Pre-Employment Skills Training Services (Pre-ETS) by Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Services and the Dougherty County School System in 2023. While attending Monroe Comprehensive High School, Everiana participated in the Easterseals Pre-ETS Program. During her high school years, she worked part-time at McDonald's and Walmart, but her true aspiration was to pursue a career in nursing.

Healthcare Worker

After graduating from high school, Everiana was determined to follow her passion in the healthcare field. She enrolled at Roosevelt Warm Springs, a residential facility for vocational learning and training operated by the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency in Warm Springs, Georgia. While living on campus, she dedicated herself to becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

In August 2024, Everiana was referred to the Easterseals Vocational Department for assistance with job placement. She graduated in December as a Certified Nursing Assistant and was subsequently hired full-time by Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. 

Everiana Dunlap is an achiever who demonstrates unwavering determination. Once she sets her mind to a goal, there is no stopping her. Congratulations, Everiana!
