Saraphine's Transition from Vocational Training Programs to Employment at Easterseals

Saraphine is a shining example of dedication, growth, and perseverance. Her journey with Easterseals Southern Georgia began after being referred by GVRA (Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency) in December of 2024. From the very beginning, Saraphine showed a strong commitment to her career aspirations.

Saraphine’s journey with Easterseals began with Workplace Readiness training through our Vocational Program. After completing Workplace Readiness,  she took her skills to the next level through Community-Based Work Adjustment Training (CBWAT) at Lee County Probate Court. There, she distinguished herself as an Office Clerk, impressing everyone with her computer skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

In May 2025, Saraphine graduated from Albany Technical College with an associate’s degree in computer Programming, maintaining an impressive GPA of 3.5 or higher. Her dedication to personal and professional development truly paid off.

By September 2025, she landed a role as an Administrative Assistant at Easterseals Southern Georgia. In this position, she provides vital support to the Vocational Department, handling everything from creating spreadsheets and organizing charts to preparing reports and managing billing.

Saraphine’s journey exemplifies what can be achieved with hard work, initiative, and a positive attitude. She continues to demonstrate reliability and professionalism, embodying resilience and the spirit of growth.
