Rediscovering Purpose: Loualis's Journey to Employment with Easterseals

After facing challenges due to health issues and a loss of productivity at home, Loualis embarked on a transformative journey with Easterseals that reignited her passion for work and community engagement.

Loualis connected with Easteseals Vocational Program because she felt unproductive at home and wanted to engage with others in the community. Health issues from an accident prevented her from continuing her career in Personal Care. During her journey with Easterseals Workplace Readiness Training, Loualis expressed a desire to work at a consignment shop, specifically at the Habitat Restore 2. Now in Community Work Adjustment Training at Habitat Restore, she enjoys her work and appreciates the accommodating staff. It has been years since she had the opportunity to work, and she is grateful to Easterseals for this opportunity.
